Biodiesel

Biodiesel is a renewable clean energy,it is a kind of liquid fuel which based on oil crops such as soybeans and rapeseed, oil palm and pistacia chinensis tree fruits, engineered microalgae and other aquatic plants, as well as animal fats and waste cooking oil,it is a high quality oil and diesel substitute of petroleum and diesel.

Biodiesel is a typical “green energy”, the developing of biodiesel has an important strategic significance on developing economy, promoting alternative energy, reducing environmental pressure and controlling urban air pollution.

Application:

1.Biodiesel can be used as fuel for boilers, turbines, diesel engines, etc,the main industrial application is fatty acid methyl ester.

2.Biodiesel is a kind of high quality clean diesel oil, which can be refined from various biomass, it’s an inexhaustible source of energy., it is expected to replace petroleum as an alternative fuel when resources are running out nowadays.

Diesel

Diesel oil is a product of light petroleum and a mixture of complex hydrocarbons (about 10 to 22 carbon atoms) is used as diesel engine fuel.Mainly extracted from the diesel which generating from crude oil distillation, catalytic cracking, thermal cracking, hydrogen cracking, petroleum coking. It can also be made from shale oil processing and coal liquefaction.

Mainly divided into two kinds: light diesel oil (boiling point range of about 180 ~ 370 ℃) and heavy diesel oil (boiling point range of about 350 ~ 410 ℃).Widely used in large vehicles, railway locomotives, ships.

Application:

Diesel fuel is the main power fuel for many oversize vehicles such as trucks, diesel locomotive and electric generator. It has the advantages of large power and low price. Compared with gasoline, diesel has high energy density and low fuel consumption rate. However, there are many harmful components in the exhaust gas, which is seriously polluted to the air, such as a large amount of particle dust and high discharging rate of CO2.
